Standing the test of time

Hi.

I’ve been interested to note that a few conversations around me in the past 2 weeks, from friends & fam, clients and students, has been focused on legacy. So after having a good think and doing some research I’ve found a quote from a fav spiritual teacher of mine that has really got me thinking.

“The only thing that stands the test of time is love and wisdom.”

So are those ancient great architectural structures still standing in the world a symbol of wisdom passed on?

And the elderly around us?

In a work sense, what wisdom & love is sought from you? And what extra wisdom and love can you bring to the table? What measures would you have in place to know that they were being received? And in what ways are you already being rewarded and recognized for what you bring to the table?

In a career and relationship growth sense I’d love to explore these questions deeper. Give me a call if you want to do so with me as your coach and mentor. And send me a sign of what lands for you in terms of where you are at now in your life with relation to your legacy, aaaannnnddddd, whether you agree or disagree with the quote above. Am curious……

On a personal note I had a topsy-turvy working week this last week; I’d been using some new coaching tools in the training room and spent the first three days wondering if I was really serving to the best of my ability and having a positive impact on those I work with. And then on Thursday I had such resounding evidence that YES, it was working and the results were even better than I had at first visualized which allowed me to push past the discomfort and trust in my training and coaching instincts at a deeper level. Appreciating this new wisdom and loving what I am creating for and with people πŸ™‚ She says skipping home from a great music festival weekend away πŸ™‚
