As a 0-7 year old we learn masses of different things. In the world of psychology it’s called the imprint years. Hand-eye co-ordination for example, and crossing the road safely, handling pocket money, interacting nicely with people we meet and family members, our ABC’s. The list goes on.

The society we live in now is very different from the one our parents and grandparents grew up in. Job choices are a fairly recent phenomenon. As is changing career paths. How you sell yourself, how you apply, how and when you action the whole process is very different to how it happened in the past. Having someone on your team to support you with this speeds up the whole process, adds calm, better results and is lasting education that carries through into your new role and future career transitions. Know someone ready to receive some help in this area? Give me a call.

On a personal note – this blog was sparked from watching the ah-hah’s flow for a client this week. They had such a strong belief that they should have known it all already and that there was something faulty about them that they’d needed some help, and when I pointed out that this had never been modeled to them, so how should they have known, it came as such a relief.    Now there is so much more space in their mindset for actioning new things around their work and career, I bet the new role will be here within a fortnight at this pace! And then we get to celebrate 🙂
