You know how when trees grow they have mini circles of growth inside the trunk, that you can see when you cut them down, and they look like rings?
Trees are so smart. They build upon the growth, year after year, adding rings, to become a magnificent tree. Some years there is a lot of growth, maybe due to the rainfall and the climate. Other years might be light on.
We are exactly the same. And we have some years that have massive growth, and others that might be light on.
By building on each experience, each up, each down, year on year, we are who we are. Note all the growth rings are additions and each is important in it’s own right. We wouldn’t be who we are without the layering of experience. How about making peace with some of those in your past|present|future that you may have been wanting to cut out? Am interested to know your thoughts.
On a personal note I grew up in the hills outside of Melbourne, Australia. There were a lot of trees. There still are – even after our expert woodcutter has seen to one recently where my family live. This massive gorgeous gum tree is going to provide about 2+yrs of wood for their fireplaces. In that tree’s lifetime (according to the tree-feller) it survived 3 bushfires, 5 long droughts and then split in it’s trunk and needed felling. You should have heard it when it came crashing down! Have had a great time coming together with family, neighbours and friends to carve & stack this beauty up. Thx wood cutters 🙂
As always, if you are ready to work out how your inner rings add to your outer game, to receive ongoing coaching, to GET A PAYRISE, feel / look / sound / be different, and are ready for a support team, I’m here…………HH
And who else do you know that likes thinking & questioning? Plus being the best that they can be WHILST KICKING BUTT IN THEIR CAREER and delivering massive value? Well forward this on and invite them into the community 🙂
