My mind is popping. Like wow. I think I have my new favourite mindset concept to apply, to use for like forever. It’s 11pm and I’m at the back of a seminar room absorbing info from an awesome mentor. And the wow in my world is called ‘Learnings Per Hour’ (LPH).
We measure km’s per hour, or miles per hour for those of you over in the UsofA 😉 So how would your life be if you also started to apply the LPH concept. I wonder. It’s fast to learn as it’s only got three parts:
Filter
Absorb
Apply
How good are you at filtering for the lessons – take time to review what’s happening. Regularly. Secondly, absorb the key lessons. And on third base, allowing you to make a dash for the homerun is to apply the learnings. From now on. Observing the people in my environment who really move fast and seem to achieve such great things in short spaces of time, well they are the ones that have got this implemented. And it all stems from the thinking.
My suggestion to you, to apply this week, is to choose one area of your life that you can focus on for lessons so as you can radically improve that area…..fast. Here are some examples:
- For those of you making a career change, contact someone in your environment who has already successfully done that and get a list of 7 things that they did to achieve it, then filter, absorb and apply the learnings for yourself – within an hour.
- Reflecting on a communication point you had last week that could have gone better, was it with a workmate, a child or a partner (perhaps you did not get the outcome that you were hoping for), filter, absorb and apply – within the hour.
- Thinking of a habit that no longer serves you. Filter, absorb and apply.
I’d love to hear how you go if you fancy dropping me a line. As always, if you are ready to bust a belief, feel / look / sound / be different, and are keen to tap into a support team then you know where to find me…………HH
And who else do you know that likes thinking & questioning? Plus being the best that they can be? Well forward this on and invite them into the community 🙂
